Pegasus Reserves 1 Nomads Reserves (Chris Hurling)  â€“ 25/02/12

We knew this was going to be tough game after we sneaked a one nil win a couple of weeks ago in the reverse fixture and Nomads didn’t disappoint.

The first half was pretty tight, We started well but didn’t get an early goal and Nomads grew into the game, went 1.0 up and just about shaded the half.

The second half was much improved for us. We snuffed out their two or three danger men and introduced Chris Hurling for the last half hour and he made a massive difference down the right hand side. Chris got on the end of a Derek cross to equalise and then with minutes remaining was very unlucky not to win a penalty for us when he was blatantly chopped down in the box.

All in all we were just about happy with a point although we though we shaded it slightly. The lads though knew they had had to work very hard for it though against a decent team.
