22/11/08 : Corby Pegasus 3 - Stanion 0

Pegasus kept their recent unbeaten run going as they collected three points against bottom markers Stanion.

Pegasus got off to a great start when Ben Smith put Liam Duffy through to round the keeper and put his side 1 up after only four minutes. Pegasus were enjoying a lot of possession, without really creating too much, although Chris Power should have increased their lead on the half hour mark, before Duffy repaid the compliment and set up Smith to give Pegasus a 2 0 half time lead.

The points were sealed shortly after half time when Duffy chased a back pass which the goalkeeper kneed out, only for Duffy to head straight back over his head for a 3 – 0 lead.

The game went flat after this with few chances created, although Dragoslav Krunic was denied from making it 4 0 when the Stanion keeper, Kris Bartle, handled outside the box and received a red card for his troubles.
